2011 Nutcracker School Show Order Form

 

Each December students fill the Edison Theatre from schools all across the St Louis metropolitan area for the annual educational performances of “The Nutcracker” presented by Missouri Ballet Theatre.   MBT provides a study guide that furthers students understanding of the art form and of the show and offers 3 performance times to select from.

Missouri Ballet Theatre is the only professional ballet company in St Louis to offer the full performance (2 hours with intermission) of “The Nutcracker” during a school performance and for only $6.00.  It includes the beautiful “Dance of the Snowflakes” and the dance between the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Prince.  Missouri Ballet Theatre is happy to provide students the opportunity to experience the “magical” art form of ballet at a bargain price.

Missouri Ballet Theatre is a professional ballet company.  The performers in “The Nutcracker” are professional dancers, with some of the children’s roles filled by student dancers who auditioned and were cast from across the St Louis area.
